We’ve been voted as a best place to work

Employees voted in The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work 2025 survey, showing that 90% feel safe and happy at work.

As a firm, we were praised for fostering a supportive environment, with employees noting inclusive leadership and hybrid working being our top performing areas. With nearly 70% of our team made up of women, additional benefits include enhanced family policies, a dedicated charitable day, and performance-based bonus scheme, all designed to support employee wellbeing and professional growth.

The results showed that 91% feel proud working for the firm, believe they are treated with respect and have a good relationship with their managers.

Alongside this we were also ranked third in RollOnFriday's Best Law Firms To Work At earlier this year with 84% of employees declaring they’re very satisfied.

Owen Butler, recently appointed chief people officer at Mills & Reeve, said: “How happy and fulfilled our people are at Mills & Reeve has been fundamental to our success as a firm. My predecessor Sandy Boyle, the wider HR and learning teams, the partner and leadership groups, and above all our people, should be incredibly proud to be listed again in The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work. Everyone here contributed to our special culture and so this award is for us all. We remain ambitious, and not complacent, and will strive to improve further as we deliver on our 2030 strategy.”
