Alex works with a range of clients, predominantly in the technology, education and charity sectors. He advises on the full range of the employment relationship, particularly on sensitive disciplinary and grievances, often with potential reputational risks. Alex also conducts complex, high value, employment tribunal litigation and can conduct workplace investigations.
Alex aims to empower leaders and HR Teams to resolve issues in the workplace and focus on nurturing high performing teams. He sees the big picture and provides practical solutions with the client’s commercial goals in mind.
Alex also works with clients on their HR governance structures, particularly owner-manged businesses in preparation for exit, and outsourcing projects.
Alex is an Independent Governor at Long Road Sixth Form College. He is passionate about connecting people and colleagues’ professional development. He is the Secretary of the Cambridge Young Professionals Group and organises the Mills & Reeve group of future business leaders – ‘NextGen’. Alex also volunteers at the ARU Law Clinic, giving students first-hand exposure to legal work.
