Alice advises insurers, Lloyd's Syndicates, MGAs, corporate and local authority clients in relation to issues arising from incidents of property damage, including losses caused by significant fires, explosions, escape of water, flooding, theft and fraudulent claims.
She provides policy coverage advice to first party insurers and MGA clients and acts on behalf of policyholders in respect of third party and product liability disputes. She represents insurer clients across a wide range of insurance lines, including property / business interruption, casualty, fine art & species and liability claims teams.
She has also acted for a number of corporations directly where incidents of property damage have occurred at their premises, or by assisting them with issues arising in relation to their property insurance programmes.
Alice also acts on behalf of insurers, policyholders and corporate clients to recover losses incurred as a result of an incident of property damage or theft.
Alice is instructed to review, advise on and draft policy wordings and assist her insurer clients with issues surrounding the complaints process and the Financial Ombudsman Service. She regularly provides training to her clients and is keen to support them with their learning and development needs.
Alice is recommended as a key lawyer in her field by the Legal 500 and has gained valuable insight into the challenges and needs of her clients having undertaken secondments within property and liability claims teams at some leading insurers.
