Andrew was co author of War Risks & Terrorism (Insurance Institute of London, 2007).
General commercial disputes include yacht charterparties, breaches of contract, negligence and debt.

Andrew worked for 8 years at US firms and is well used to assisting overseas lawyers with English legal issues, including with the taking of depositions and evidence under the Hague Convention and UK Evidence (Proceedings in Other Jurisdictions) Act.
Andrew originally qualified and practised first as as a barrister in 1999, graded "very competent". He qualified also as a Solicitor-Advocate in 2002 and now practises as a solicitor-advocate.

Andrew has a BA Russian & East European History at UCL's School of Slavonic & E. European Studies, MA in Modern History at UCL, and studied Russian language and culture at St Petersburg University, Russia in the 1990s.
