He defends claims against a multitude of disciplines including solicitors, architects, surveyors, engineers & other construction professionals. Dan is accustomed to dealing with high value and complex actions, and is also regularly instructed to advise on the terms and application of insurance contracts.

Dan recently acted for a contractor who was the subject of a multi-million pound claim for damages arising out of a series of leaks at a block of flats. The claim involved several parties, scores of witnesses and complex points of law. Dan was able to navigate the client through the issues and mount the robust defence of the claim through to trial. The claim was subsequently abandoned part way through the hearing and a very favourable outcome was negotiated for the client.
What else should you know
Dan is a keen swimmer and regularly competes in Masters competitions both at a National and European level. Dan also has two dogs who are excellent company when hiking at the weekends.
