Ed's a specialist construction lawyer with nearly 20 years' experience in the field. He has particular expertise in complex transactions, especially in the areas of senior living, distribution, residential and regeneration. He's familiar with all of the major construction standard forms, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC, MF/1 and IChemE.

Having acted for a broad spectrum of the construction industry, and represented clients at the start, during and after the completion of a project, Ed has a real understanding of what risks really matter and what drives different participants in a development. As a result, clients value his strategic insight and his ability to bridge the gaps between parties on the key issues.

What else should you know?
Ed’s first experience of construction came when he worked with a local builder on residential extensions during his university holidays. He still sees many of the same problems arising, albeit generally on a larger scale!
