Hannah is a senior associate in the planning team, with significant experience advising on the range of planning and highways related matters needed to secure the grant of planning permission for major development schemes. This includes negotiating section 106 agreements in respect of strategic urban extensions and the development of new towns.

Hannah acts for public and private sector clients on all aspects of planning, highways and compulsory purchase law. Her expertise includes planning appeals, statutory challenges and judicial review claims, town and village greens, planning enforcement, and minerals and waste consents. She has a particular interest in highways law and is experienced in drafting highways agreements and orders, as well as advising on public rights of way.
Hannah also has experience in major infrastructure projects, including advising clients affected by Transport and Works Act Orders, Development Consent Orders, and Compulsory Purchase Orders. She brings HS2 experience, notably in relation to certificates of appropriate alternative development (CAADs) and references to the Lands Tribunal. Hannah’s experience includes advising on one of the leading CAAD cases of 2023 (Secretary of State for Transport v Curzon Park Ltd and others).
