What can I do for you

James is an employment law specialist and has wide variety of experience acting for corporate clients ranging from SMEs to large national companies. His experience includes defence of Employment Tribunal claims. For instance, unfair and constructive dismissal and discrimination claims. Supporting your ambitions

Employment law is continuously developing and evolving, James appreciates that it can be difficult for businesses to keep up with challenging problems from employees. James gives his clients the confidence to tackle difficult subjects and achieve their desired outcome by listening to their needs and providing insightful, commercial and practical advice, such as:

  • Defending a company in relation to a tribunal claim for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination in the context of a resentful employee who resigned after six years' service.
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements for several private companies.
  • Advising an organisation in relation to a flexible working request.

What do others say

"James demonstrated all the attributes you would want from your legal adviser. He was extremely professional and from the outset, it was clear James had a high level of knowledge and expertise within employment law. However, it was his excellent inter-personal skills which particularly impressed me." A client.
