What can I do for you

Jennifer deals with a broad range of corporate and commercial matters for education, charity and other public sector based clients.  She has particular expertise around academic collaborations and international education ventures, apprenticeship contracts, charity fundraising, grants and donations, and general commercial contracts.

Supporting your ambitions

One of Jennifer's highlights has been assisting clients with interpreting and implementing changes in the apprenticeships system.  She has helped a number of clients to develop suites of template contracts and to navigate some challenging legal and regulatory issues.  This has enabled clients to launch new apprenticeship programmes and to maximise the opportunities available.  Jennifer has also advised on a variety of academic collaborations including validation, joint/dual, flying faculty and agency agreements, helping clients to achieve their ambitions and reduce their risk.  These have included complex and bespoke international arrangements in jurisdictions such as India, China and Malta.

What else should you know

Jennifer undertook a nine month secondment at a University client.  She advised on a wide range of general commercial contracts and issues as well as academic collaborations.  This was invaluable experience in understanding how institutions operate 'on the ground' and the commercial issues they face.
