Katie is an associate in the Private Client sector having qualified in September 2021. She has dealt with a range of complex estates including dealing with family businesses and trusts. Katie also has experience in drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and lifetime trusts and has dealt with some court of protection applications such as deputyship orders.
Supporting your ambitions
In her previous role, Katie worked closely with a recently bereaved Widower who wanted to ensure his Wife's wishes were carried out properly whilst navigating his grief. Katie was able to help the client make decisions and listened carefully to his rationale in decision making whilst being patient. The client was able to achieve his goal of administering his wife's estate in a timely way whilst not putting too much pressure on himself. The client came back to Katie once the administration of his Wife's estate was concluded to help prepare his own Will.
