Ryan is a partner in the corporate finance team. He helps clients, including multinational corporations, to effect their acquisition strategies, and advises owner managers on the sale of their businesses. As co-head of the private equity group Ryan also works closely with private equity houses and management teams on management buy-outs.

One of Ryan's significant highlights involved advising US based CreativeDrive Inc on its multi-million pound acquisition of Zebra Worldwide Group, a content creator with offices in a number of jurisdictions. The deal brought together the best of Mills & Reeve - providing expert advice to allow CreativeDrive to make an informed decision about deal structures, working with CreativeDrive's private equity backer to align their requirements with the sellers' expectations and delivering a complex transaction involving four jurisdictions within a tight timetable.
