What can Sarah do for you?

Sarah is a senior associate in our professional indemnity team in Manchester. Her work involves defending and resolving allegations of negligence against clients from a range of professions including surgeons and other medical professionals, members of the construction industry, brokers and solicitors. Sarah also brings the experience gained from two client secondments to advise on coverage disputes across all professions.

Supporting your ambitions

Sarah's recent trial experience includes success in Joanne Dunhill v W Brook & Co (1) Crossley (2) and Chandra v Wright Hassall & another. Her medical negligence workload includes claims for orthopaedic, plastic surgery and gynaecology consultants. This workload combined with her first hand experience of the decision in Dunhill v Burgin provides her with a specialist expertise in claims against solicitors and barristers arising from under-settled personal injury claims.

What do others say?

Clients refer to Sarah as "someone I feel that I can pick up the phone and ask for her thoughts on any matter. She is always friendly and willing to assist" and regularly thank her for her quick responses.

What else should you know?

In 2013 Sarah purchased a road bike. She has since been on a cycling holiday to Majorca and encountered horrendous hills in the Peak District and Lake District. Sarah’s biggest achievement was cycling 154 miles in one day from Manchester to her family home in Gloucestershire for The Opportunity Centre, a children’s charity based in the Forest of Dean.
