What can I do for you
Shuabe is a principal associate based in the Birmingham office and advises clients on a wide range of employment and HR-related issues. He has a particular focus on workplace investigations, as well as a strong foundation in advising on all aspects of equality law—with a specialism in race and ethnicity equality. He has experience as a D&I consultant, having delivered training, held seminars, and facilitated workshops for employees at all levels across a number of sectors.
Supporting your ambitions
Shuabe is acutely aware that clients want legal advice which actually advises, rather than just sets out a commentary on the relevant law. He is conscious of the increasing time-pressures which his clients face, and so provides considered, clear and concise advice that can be easily understood and promptly implemented. Together with this, Shuabe greatly enjoys working hand-in-glove with clients seeking to create real and lasting cultural change—particularly in relation to race awareness, allyship and creating a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.
What else should you know
He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and takes a keen interest in the work of its race equality committee. He is a keen member of the firm’s Reach (race, ethnicity and cultural heritage) employee network. Outside of work, Shuabe enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He's a foodie and tries to counter that (with varying levels of success) by playing badminton and generally keeping fit.
