Simon is a specialist corporate lawyer based in the Birmingham office. He has extensive experience acting for buyers, sellers, and investors in corporate transactions involving companies in the health, digital, education and travel sectors. Simon also has considerable experience working offshore and has advised large US based financial institutions on their operations in offshore jurisdictions, most prominently the Cayman Islands.

Simon enjoys getting to know each of his clients’ businesses, so that he can provide informed advice targeted at achieving their aims. In complex transactions communication is key and Simon’s approachable manner allows clients to quickly feel at ease. Straightforward, pragmatic and commercially astute negotiations help move projects forward to completion.

Simon also practices in the sports sector, advising on club purchases and on amendments to the constitutions of sports institutions and clubs. As an avid football fan, he has advised clubs and organisations on upcoming reform in football, including the impending football regulator, allowing him to combine his professional work with his hobbies
