Surj is a senior ESG manager with a passion for integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into the legal sector.
Surj works alongside the ESG leadership team to shape, implement and embed the firm's ESG roadmap and strategy. This means driving responsible business practice and impact both within Mills & Reeve and the organisations we work with.
Surj engages and collaborates with diverse stakeholders to develop and successfully implement key ESG services and programmes, aimed at helping organisations to take a proactive and positive approach to environmental, social and governance issues – rather than seeing it as a regulatory and compliance burden.
Surj regularly participates in ESG events, conferences and thought leadership and recently ran workshops on how firms can get on top of their 'S' in ESG, as well as the marketing team’s role in supporting and communicating their organisation’s ESG story and achievements.
