The recent case of Construction Industry Training Board v Beacon Roofing Ltd is interesting. It held that where a company contracts with another company in order to divest itself of its administrative responsibilities under the Industrial Training Levy (Construction Industry Training Board) Order 2009, the company will still have to pay the levy.
