Dealing with big data and connected cars

As we move towards an increasingly connected future in transport, vast amounts of data are being collected and shared. This raises real concerns about privacy - a report by Deloitte suggested that 64% of consumers now consider privacy of data a key factor when purchasing a car. Trustworthy stewardship of data is now a hot topic in the automotive sector.

Data trusts are being developed to address these issues. Although in the early stages of development, these offer a solution to the most pressing privacy problems.
