Julian Moore joins Mills & Reeve as Head of London Sports Team

We are delighted to announce that Julian Moore has joined the Mills & Reeve London office, as the head of the London sports team.

The sports team at Mills & Reeve has advised clients on a wide range of legal issues across a variety of different sports for over 25 years. In that time, we have built a strong foundation based upon providing clients with a wealth of experience and a personal and engaging approach. Our clients include clubs, agents, players' unions, federations, sponsors and some of the best athletes in the world.

Julian Moore is a highly-experienced commercial sports lawyer who focuses, in particular, on media, sponsorship and other sports rights. He acts for a wide range of clients across the sector, both domestically and internationally, and in a number of sports, including football, horse racing, cycling, cricket and golf.

Prior to returning to the UK in 2015, he worked for a decade in-house in Switzerland and Singapore for the Infront Sports & Media group on the licensing of international broadcast rights to the 2006, 2010, 2014 & 2018 FIFA World Cups.

I am delighted to join Mills & Reeve. The sports team are exceptional and, for many years, have worked and ruled on cases that have shaped the international sports law landscape. It is enormously exciting to be involved in their growth as a uniquely full-service, nationwide sports practice and to be working with such fantastic lawyers and clients”, said Julian.

We have been looking for a while to get the right person in to help Mills & Reeve expand its sports offering from London. Julian has been the perfect fit, really complementing the great people we have already at Mills & Reeve and bringing a wealth of new and diverse experience”, said Mark Hovell, Head of Sports at Mills & Reeve.

Julian can be contacted at [email protected].
