Maxwell Winward has merged with Mills & Reeve

The London office of the new firm, Mills & Reeve LLP, is based at Monument Place, 24 Monument Street, London EC3R 8AJ. The merger enables Mills & Reeve to substantially grow its presence in London and enhances its existing real estate investment and insurance sectors as well as the projects and construction practice. 

It will allow Mills & Reeve’s real estate investment practice to offer a high quality London-based team, supported by 110 real estate lawyers nationally, to existing and new institutional and fund clients. The newly combined firm will also advise clients on the structuring, transaction and asset management work they require to realise the full value of their portfolios. 

Maxwell Winward’s surety practice bridges the insurance and construction sectors in which Mills & Reeve is already strong while its power plant expertise will add another area of know-how to the projects offering.
