Travel and accessibility FAQs
There is no parking available at City Square. The closest car park is at the Leeds rail station, Q-Park Albion Street and Trinity Leeds. There are various other car parks located along Whitehall Road. These are between two and 10 minutes away from City Square on foot.
Directions from the M621:
- At junction 3 of the M621, exit towards Central Leeds/Holbeck and merge onto Dewsbury Road (A653).
- Continue straight onto the A653.
- Take a slight right onto Meadow Road and continue to follow the A653.
- Continue onto Neville Street.
- As you approach the city centre and cross the river, you must turn right at the bus gate onto Sovereign Street.
- From Sovereign Street, turn left onto Swinegate.
- At the end of Swinegate, you can proceed onto Bishopgate Street and then turn right onto Boar Lane. This will allow access to the vicinity of City Square, including Lower Basinghall Street and Mill Hill.
There are direct trains from London King's Cross, Birmingham New Street and Manchester Piccadilly. Our office is just a two-minute walk from the train station.
From Leeds station, you can walk to 1 City Square in two minutes. After the ticket barrier, follow the signs to the City Square exit. Cross the roads at the pedestrian crossings. City Square is the glass-fronted building located on the other side of City Square (with the Queen's Hotel entrance behind you). 1 City Square is located between Infirmary Street and Park Row. Enter the building through the revolving door and report to the ground floor reception, who will direct you to our office.
