Exactly half of our practice areas are ranked in Band 1 – the highest accolade available from Chambers and Partners. One of those Band 1 rankings was our Birmingham employment team which moved up this year from Band 2.
Other Mills & Reeve teams to move up the rankings included our national sports team from Band 4 to Band 3 and the Leeds professional negligence team from Band 3 to Band 2. Our litigation team was once again named in the “national leaders outside London” category and moved up this year form Band 3 to Band 2.
Meanwhile 115 of our lawyers were ranked individually, including 32 in Band 1. Philip Way, a partner in our family team was ranked as a “star individual”.
