Guests had the opportunity to hear from two keynote speakers, Dr Louise Newson, founder of Newson Health, Menopause & Wellbeing Centre, and co-founder, Dr Rebecca Lewis.
Dr Louise Newson spoke about her experience in business, how she set up Newson Health and how she’s navigated the path of being a woman in business since then. She also discussed her expertise in the field of women’s health, particularly around menopause, the importance of health and hormones for individuals, and the impact that hormone health has on the workforce.
Louise said: “It was a wonderful evening full of inspirational people – it was an honour and privilege to share both my knowledge of hormones and my professional “journey” with them. The support and respect for my work was palpable and very encouraging.”
The Women in Health & Care Network was established in 2023 by Jill Mason, partner and head of health and care at Mills & Reeve, to help build a collaborative network of decision makers and influencers within the sector.
