Katharine advises clients in a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on technology and life sciences. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, joint ventures and restructuring transactions, as well as general corporate governance and shareholder and board advisory matters. Katharine works with clients who are based locally, nationally and internationally.

Supporting your ambitions

Katharine's experience includes: 

  • Assisting on the sale of Iontas Limited for founding shareholder, Dr John McCafferty, to FairJourney Biologics (backed by GMO Capital).
  • Advising the shareholders of Delta Financial Systems on their sale to Bravura Solutions
  • Acting for the majority shareholders of Biocrucible, a Cambridge based molecular diagnostics company, on their sale to Sapphiros.
  • Providing legal advice to the shareholders of Raleigh Adhesive Coatings Ltd on its sale to Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc
  • Advising FactSet in connection with a $15m Series A funding round in Accelex Technology
  • Acting for Optalysys on a £21m Series A funding round led by Lingotto (an investment management company owned by Exor N.V.), imec.xpand and Northern Gritstone.
  • Supporting open source platform Gravitee.io on its $11 million funding round
  • Working with long-standing client IQ Capital since joining the firm in 2020 on a series of investments including investments under the Government backed Future Fund
