Katie is a solicitor in the estate, trust and will disputes team. Having trained at Mills & Reeve, she qualified into the team in September 2024.
Katie has experience advising on a variety of matters including trust litigation, will and probate disputes (including those relating to capacity and undue influence), claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, and Court of Protection matters.
She acts for a broad range of clients, including high net worth individuals, business owners, professional indemnity insurers, and charities.

Katie is part of a national team that delivers outstanding specialist advice to its clients. She understands the often emotive and complex nature of such matters, and provides support at every step of the way.
Katie works pragmatically and collaboratively to grasp the individual circumstances, needs and challenges at play. Alongside the rest of the team, she strives to achieve her clients’ aims through a range of means, including mediation and other alternative dispute resolution.
What else should you know
Katie helps to run the CSR committee in the Birmingham office, and is an active member of the Contentious Trusts Association.
Having grown up in rural Mid Wales, Katie can often be found outdoors in her free time; particularly at the stables - with horse-riding being one of her passions. She also enjoys travelling, and usually has an exciting trip or two lined up.
