Lisa represents insurers and their insureds defending and resolving professional negligence claims. She has extensive experience in dealing with claims against a wide range of professionals and specialises in dealing with claims against lawyers, surveyors and financial professionals. These claims are often high value and have complex issues.

Supporting your ambitions

Lisa's skill is tackling the complex with an apparent air of simplicity whilst ensuring the correct commercial result is achieved, whether this is by early negotiated resolution, or a full exploration of the issues at trial. She is not afraid to entertain early applications to strike out a claim where necessary, as evidenced in Jones v Longley 2016.  She is a strong advocate of alternative dispute resolution and has extensive experience and success dealing with matters through mediation.
