What can Melanie do for you?

Melanie advises on planning and compulsory purchase across a range of development, including the promotion of new communities and regeneration projects.  Melanie advises on planning strategy, environmental impact assessment, section 106 agreements and judicial review.

Melanie’s major infrastructure experience includes advising on nationally significant infrastructure projects promoted under the Planning Act 2008, as well as Transport and Works Act Orders.

Supporting your ambitions

Melanie has acted on some of the UK’s major regeneration and infrastructure schemes. She has advised promoters in the business and commercial, transport and energy sectors on a wide range of Development Consent Orders promoted under the Planning Act 2008, so is well placed to advise those affected by major infrastructure schemes.

Melanie excels in client experience. She is known for her personable approach and the rapport she builds with her clients. Melanie will get to know you and your business to ensure that she becomes an extension of your team, supporting your ambitions and not simply your “external” lawyer.

What do others say?

Melanie has been recognised as a “Next Generation Lawyer” and latterly as a “Rising Star” in Legal 500, where she is described as “excellent”.

“Melanie is absolutely superb. She has the commercial ability to advise me on what I can ignore and what I have to look at. When something is important she lets me know”. Client Feedback
