What can Stuart do for you?

Stuart can help any  construction or engineering project by drafting and negotiating  the necessary contracts.

Stuart also advises on waste to energy projects.

Stuart leads our national academies practice.

Stuart is interested in environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG), and linked with that, he is a keen supporter of modern methods of construction(MMC) and the benefits they bring.

Supporting your ambitions

Stuart and his team know a successful project is one that meets their client's needs and is ideally delivered on time and under budget. Their focus is on getting the deal done.

They are currently helping a university on all aspects of its campus redevelopment. Stuart was first instructed over ten years ago and the team provides advice on a range of individual projects - big, small and in-between. The university benefits from consistent and focused advice that it trusts from a team who knows and understands its needs and preferred approach.

What do others say?

The latest edition of Chambers UK says " he is "well regarded for his non-contentious construction practice" whilst the latest edition of Legal 500 describes him as "an individual of particular note".

A university COO said Stuart was "a major factor in my success and a good friend".

What else should you know?

Stuart writes regular articles on construction and professional negligence for the Legal Notes section of Estates Gazette and is also part of PLC Construction's consultation board.

He is a member of the Society of Construction Law.

Stuart is also a trustee of the Albrighton Trust, which provides activities for people disadvantaged by disabilities, special needs or illness.
