A number of changes are coming in on 6 April 2020, which have been in the pipeline for some time, including changes to:
- Implement parts of the Government’s Good Work Plan of 2018, which came out of the Taylor Review.
- Employment tribunal limits
- Tax treatment of termination payments
- The NMW rules
- IR 35 (the off-payroll working rules) and
- Parental bereavement leave and pay.
