Supporting your ambitions
Gary's highlight of the past year was acting for one of the UK's leading demolition sub-contractors in successful adjudication proceedings against a major UK main contractor. The main contractor was refusing to make payment for various additional works instructed under the contract and refusing to award an extension of time or loss and expense.
Gary advised the client before the adjudication and during the adjudication proceedings. He successfully argued the sub-contractor's case and got an award of c.£1m in its favour. As a mark of success the Adjudicator also ordered the main contractor to pay the Adjudicator's fees in full.
What do others say?
Gary acted for a county council in a £30m engineering dispute with Carillion. The client commented that "Gary’s technical skill is highly valued” and “we would have absolute confidence in putting Gary before the Leader of the Council".
Another commented that "you’re a dream to work with and I know I’m pulling you in lots of directions, so thank you".
