What can Greg do for you?

Greg joined the Projects team on qualification after completing his training with the firm. Greg advises on all forms of PFI/PPP, concession and outsourcing projects for both public and private sector clients as well as funders. Greg has experience assisting clients in the health, defence, energy and student accommodation sectors.

Supporting your ambitions

Greg has assisted a number of universities with the generation of additional capital and the expansion and improvement of their student accommodation offering using tailored concession arrangements with private sector providers. Last year, Greg was part of the team advising the University of Exeter on two separate projects, using off-balance sheet structures both within and outside of OJEU regulations.

In the health sector Greg has worked with funders, the private sector and trusts to create valuable health infrastructure across the United Kingdom, including the first eLIFT scheme in Barrow-in-Furness and a primary care centre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

What do others say?

Greg was named Trainee Solicitor of the Year at the Birmingham Law Society Awards 2018 and was short-listed for the Future Face of Legal at the Future Faces Awards 2017.

A University client, who Greg has advised on various contractual arrangements, described him as a "very competent lawyer, who reads a room well, raises points maturely and addresses client risk".

What else should you know?

Greg is an active member of the CSR committee in Cambridge and was previously co-chair of the Free Legal Advice Group in Birmingham.

Greg is also a keen sportsman. However, having fallen from the heights of playing football alongside current Watford midfielder Will Hughes while at school, Greg now focuses on 5-a-side football and triathlon.
