Tiran is a specialist in sports law and international sports arbitration. He advises players’ associations, clubs, athletes and agents on contractual, regulatory and disciplinary matters before forums including The FA, UEFA, FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Tiran is also an arbitrator for the UCI, and a member of the Formula One Cost Cap Adjudication Panel.
Supporting your ambitions
Tiran represented England international and Atlético Madrid footballer Kieran Trippier in defending betting related charges issued by The Football Association (FA).
Tiran acted for a Colombian international footballer in a dispute against a Premier League club, and obtained a £2m+ judgment in favour of the player before the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber.
Tiran successfully defended former World Sailing President, Kim Andersen, in multiple ethics related matters before the World Sailing Ethics Commission.
