What can Emma do for you?
Emma is a corporate lawyer specialising in investment funds and alternative investment structures. This includes advising on the formation of investment funds, subsequent acquisitions and disposals, re-financing and restructuring exercises. Emma also enjoys the challenge of advising on complex joint ventures. By using a variety of vehicles (corporates, partnerships, trusts or contract) and different jurisdictions, Emma can help to deliver the right solution.
Supporting your ambitions
Emma recently advised the largest pension scheme in the country on its £400m investment in BP’s UK fuel station portfolio. The investment allowed the pension scheme to partner with a quality investment grade business in a long term arrangement benefiting from sustainable rents and a proven trading performance from fuel and non-fuel assets.
Having spent time in-house, Emma has learnt to see things from the client's perspective. She believes that listening and clear communication are the keys to ensuring that she delivers what her clients want and need, whether that is a high level overview of issues or a detailed analysis of the law on a specific point.
