What can Natalie do for you?

Natalie is a specialist in intellectual property disputes. Her work involves advising clients on how to enforce and defend their IP rights, including trade mark, patents, designs, and copyright. Natalie has litigated in the High Court and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court. She also helps clients to negotiate settlement and licensing agreements, to achieve commercial resolutions to contentious IP issues.

Supporting your ambitions

One of Natalie’s highlights was a seven-month secondment to the UK’s largest car manufacturer. This provided an invaluable insight into the intellectual property issues faced by clients in the automotive sector.

Natalie advised the business on various brand protection matters, including how to protect its IP in new vehicles and technology, and managed the company’s global trade mark portfolio. She also advised the business on licensing opportunities and co-existence agreements to achieve commercial solutions to potential IP issues.

Natalie also played a key role in complex cross-border litigation in China and Brazil involving claims for copyright infringement and unfair competition.

What else should you know?

Natalie regularly attends events held by the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys; the Institute of Brand and Innovation Law; and the Midlands Intellectual Property Society.

Following on from her secondment, Natalie has a keen interest in the automotive and technology sectors, and is part of the Birmingham Tech Steering Group at Mills & Reeve.
