What can Alexandra do for you?
Alexandra helps clients to structure their affairs to protect their assets and achieve tax efficiency for the benefit of the next generation. This includes guiding clients through complicated inheritance, capital gains and income tax regimes; assisting them to understand the options available to them; drafting and advising on wills and family settlements; restructuring trusts; post-death reorganisations and powers of attorney.
Supporting your ambitions
One of Alexandra’s significant highlights was acting for a farming family who wished to reorganise their existing trusts and company between their four children. Alexandra collaborated with our corporate team to deliver complex trust and company re-structuring documents. This resulted in retaining the farm in single ownership while allocating specific assets for each child.
Alexandra regularly advises on the availability of reliefs and exemptions from tax and how they can be optimised in line with the clients’ objectives, which are often wide-ranging. This has seen her recommend FICs, trusts, bespoke wills, post-death variations and more intricate trust restructures.
